New Orleans reminds me a lot of France. The original settlers of the Crescent City were French bringing their love of food, culture, and a bit of their language to the new world. Amazingly, much of that heritage is still thriving today.

I regularly meet up with speaking partners who help me learn their languages in exchange for my helping them learn English.
